 Automobile Collision Technology

Description:

This course provides the student with instruction needed to develop a working knowledge of basic techniques in automotive collision technology. The collision repair specialist is a skilled craftsman who uses technical artistry to reconstruct automobile bodies that are damaged through accident or corrosion. Valuable instruction is provided in the classroom and shop. Theory and/or shop experience are gained in the areas of: major and minor collision repair, spot, panel and overall refinishing, color mixing, spray painting materials and methods, frame and uni-body alignment methods, and automotive mig welding.

Hours and Length:

Morning session - 8:10 - 11:10am.
Afternoon session - 12:45 - 3:45pm.
