Description:
This course prepares students for employment in the
home building industry and in areas of commercial carpentry. Units of study cover
fundamentals, residential, and commercial carpentry in: safety, tools & equipment,
site, layout, form carpentry, frame carpentry, exterior finish, and interior finish. This
is accomplished through organized class work, hands-on training by building a house and
building other modular commercial products.

and Length:
Morning
session - 8:10 - 11:10am.
Afternoon session - 12:45 - 3:45pm.
College

to 25 hours through OCCC

Concrete form construction
