Description:

This course is a two year course designed for secondary and adult students who need individual assistance in career planning. The goal of the course is to give each student the knowledge and abilities to live a full, productive life. The students not only achieve the basic skills, but also prepare themselves to succeed in the workplace. They are taught skills in decision making, work ethics, and how to hold a job.

Survival Skills (career & personal)
General housekeeping
Residential housekeeping skills
Hotel & motel housekeeping skills
Hospital/nursing home housekeeping skills
Commercial housekeeping skills
Restaurant worker skills
Stocking skills
Laundry skills
Job seeking skills
On The Job Training (when appropriate)

Hours and Length:

Morning session - 8:10 - 11:10am.
Afternoon session - 12:45 - 3:45pm.
