Description:

This course prepares students for entry level jobs in the machine shop and metals industry. Students receive instruction in the use of lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, and drill presses. Also included is instruction in the use of micrometers, precision measuring instruments, related mathematics, blueprint reading, and numerical control. The machinist field offers a very rewarding future.

Hours and Length:

Morning session - 8:10 - 11:10am.
Afternoon session - 12:45 - 3:45pm.
