Description:

Welding Technology prepares the student for the welding workforce. Units of study include oxyacetylene cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, plasma arc cutting, and print reading. 

Books & Supplies:

Students are required to provide safety glasses, welding gloves, welding cap, welding hood, and personal protective clothing such as boots and long sleeve heavy denim shirt.

Hours and Length:

Morning session - 8:10 - 11:10am.
Afternoon session - 12:45 - 3:45pm.
