Leadership Mid-America Brings Out the Leaders in Small
Communities
In the past, establishing an effective leadership program for
small, rural communities may have seemed daunting. But, now,
thanks to regional programs like Leadership Mid-America,
potential leaders in
Oklahoma
’s small towns are trained to lead their communities on the road
to success and prosperity.
ORGANIZATION
Leadership Mid-America is an
outgrowth of the Mid America Business & Industry Council.
It is a non-profit organization, guided by a board of
directors, and
supported by area businesses and organizations.

Leadership Class XII Completes Session Three
November 2008
- The regional leadership serving all the communities in the Mid-America Technology Center District has completed the session on “Listening & Speaking Skills” for the 2008 – 2009 class. Board Members, Lu Ann Milligan of First American Bank, and Jan Dye of Pre Paid Legal Services, co-chaired the session by planning the agenda for the day’s activities.

Regional Leadership Program Celebrates CLASS XI
May 2008 --
Leadership Mid-America, Inc. recently celebrated the graduation of Class XI as friends, family and co-workers showed their support for the Leadership Class of 2007- 2008 by attending the graduation held at Mid-America Technology Center. The program was planned and led by the graduation class.
